Conquer your Sine Wave Syndrome now
But... What is this Sine Wave Syndrome? 😵
Hey! My name is Anthony J. Vasquez. Everyone experiences up and down phases in their lives. One moment you feel like you could conquer the whole world, but the next moment you feel depressed and start questioning your entire existence. Luckily, you are not alone. You suffer from Sine Wave Syndrome.
People who know me would acknowledge that I often listen – or love to talk about – podcasts, especially about personal development. Recently, someone mentioned that listening to podcasts is not personal development. You are simply just consuming. So I decided to stop that and wrap my head around personal development.
Sine Wave Syndrome is not an actual disease, but a name I gave it so people could identify themselves more easily with this phenomenon. So, I started searching for the answer. This website Sine Wave Syndrome began as a personal mission: ‘How can I become happy.’
A few years passed by, and I think that I have come quite close to the answer. Sadly, it is not something you can obtain quickly, and it does take some practice. I plan on creating lots of content to share my findings. There is still a lot to learn; therefore, there is still a lot to write about. So I think that that’s great. We will see where things are going with this platform. Oh, and please do not block the ads. They pay for the website costs and hopefully more later on.
Have you listened to our podcast yet? 😋
It is available on almost every streaming platform as well!
Marcus Aurelius philosophy
Both Aristotle and Marcus Aurelius have been indescribable sources of inspiration for me. Marcus was the last of the ‘five good Roman emperors.’ His ancient biographer – Julius Capitolinus – defines him as a stoic. He gained the title ‘Philosopher king’ throughout his reigns according to Plato’s perspective of an ideal leader. In The Republic, Plato clarifies that either kings should become philosophers or philosophers should become kings.
Marcus is famous for his book ‘meditations.’ I have consumed a lot of books in my life so far, and this is one of those books I think everyone should read. His book covers various subjects on living a happier, more virtuous life. It is also an excellent introduction to Stoic philosophy. It teaches the development of self-control and courage to overcome destructive emotions.
Nearly two thousand years after Meditations was written, it is still relevant today for anyone who seeks to lead a meaningful life. You can check the book via the link below, and I would appreciate it if you bought it using the button below.
A famous quote by Plautus. Do you have any questions, complaints, or suggestions, or do you want to say hi? Then you are more than welcome to send me a message. We would love to read your feedback or response.
